Mergaliev Bolat Mutievich

Mergaliev Bolat Mutievich was born on April 15, 1969, in the village of Konekketken, Akzhaik district, West Kazakhstan region. He entered the O. Isayev Secondary School in 1976 and graduated in 1986.

After finishing school, Bolat Mutievich returned to his native village and began working. In May 1987, he was drafted into the Soviet Army, where he served for a month in Turkmenistan before being sent to Afghanistan, where he fulfilled his military duty in the city of Kunduz. For his service in Afghanistan, he was awarded the medal "To the Internationalist Warrior from the Grateful Afghan People." He also received several other awards, including the "70th Anniversary of the Soviet Armed Forces" commemorative medal, a certificate of honor from the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, and medals marking the 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, and 35th anniversaries of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. After completing his military service, he continued working in the collective farm as a tractor driver-mechanic. Bolat Mutievich is married and has a son and a daughter. His life is an example of service to the homeland, hard work, and patriotism.
