Imangaliyev Azamat Ermekovich was born on March 12, 1961, in the village of Baranovka, Chapayev district. After completing his primary education in Baranovka and secondary education in Budarin, he began his work in the collective farm named after Chuykov.
In 1979, he was drafted into the Soviet Army, where he first served in Hungary and later in Afghanistan, fulfilling his military and civilian duties. Despite sustaining a serious injury, he underwent treatment and returned to the battlefield, participating in crucial military operations and demonstrating heroism and composure.
Azamat Ermekovich has been awarded the "To the Internationalist Warrior from the Grateful Afghan People" medal (1989), the "70th Anniversary of the Armed Forces of the USSR" commemorative medal (1988), and a certificate of honor from the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.
