Bauyrzhan Kanatovich Izimov was born on December 16, 1967 in the village of Karaultobe, Akzhaik district. He graduated Taipak secondary school in 1985 and was drafted into the army in April 1986. In August 1988, he returned to his native country. He was awarded the medal in honor of the 70th anniversary of the military power of the USSR, the medal "gratitude of the Afghan people", the medal "internationalist-warrior", the medal "veteran of the Republic of Kazakhstan", the badge "combat honor".
